1981 – 1987

Freelance Graphic Designer for several Advertising Agencies in the Sydney district.

1987 – 1990

Assistant Advertising Manager for the Pauls Group (Magnet Mart) Hardware chain in ACT and regional NSW.

In the above decade of graphic design work I gained experience across all mediums and was responsible for all forms of traditional based finished art for clients advertising and promotional requirements.

2000 – 2007

Costumed Tour guide for Werribee Mansion and participated in multiple Theatre Companies and Stage Play productions in Geelong and surrounding districts.

I became a member of the Geelong Sculptors Group Inc and have maintained my membership regularly as well as exhibiting with them on an annual basis.

Also over the last decade I have participated in short creative courses with the Geelong Fine Art School (closed in 2018) to help maintain my own creative growth.

2007 – 2020

Created and worked as an Artist, Teacher and Sole Trader of All Things Mosaic.

A visual mosaic art school catering to the creative needs of the local community. I provided ongoing classes through the week and studio space for beginners through to experienced creative people. I’ve hosted several Exhibitions of my Students work annually and many of my past students still continue their creative journey either on their own or in group projects/workshops.

I have also been a recipient of a Geelong City Council Grant (2012). Working with another successful recipient we provided a small theatre production for primary aged children during a school holiday program. Part of the Grant requirement was to provide community involvement in creating the mosaic stage props. I not only coordinated but led the community workshop, designed
the stage props and provided creative mosaic tuition to the community volunteers involved.

2019 - current

I was the Victorian State Representative for MAANZ (Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand) 2019 – 2021.

Attended several instructional Workshops in the mosaic medium. These workshops were tutored by Deborah Halpern, Helen Bodycomb, Marian Shapiro, Cetta Pilati and several professional international mosaic artists including Carolina Zanelli tutor from the Mosaic School del Friuli in Spilimbergo, Italy.

I have exhibited my contemporary mosaic artwork as part of a small group in December 2021 at the Papermill Gallery, Fyansford and will be exhibiting again at the Hoop Gallery, Torquay in November 2022.
